New Wheels Academy Terms and Conditions
This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions between the driving instructor and the pupil for driving lessons provided by the Instructor.
1. Lesson Fees:
- £40 for 1-hour lessons
- £60 for 90-minute lessons
- £78 for 2-hour lessons
New Wheels Academy reserve the right to amend lesson prices without notice.
2. Lesson Bookings:
- Lesson bookings shall be made in advance and are subject to availability.
- The Pupil agrees to provide accurate and complete information when booking lessons.
- Please note that your driving test date will be charged at the same rate as your lessons, as you are paying for the Instructor's time and the use of the car for your test.
3. Cancellation Policy:
- If the Pupil wishes to cancel or reschedule a lesson, they must provide a minimum of **48 hours' notice**.
- Failure to provide the required notice will result in the Pupil being liable for the full payment of the lesson fee.
- The Instructor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Instructor will provide reasonable notice and offer alternative lesson arrangements.
- The Instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of their car if the student is not ready for their driving test.
4. Punctuality:
- The Pupil agrees to be punctual for all scheduled lessons.
- If the Pupil is more than **15 minutes late** for a lesson without prior notice, the Instructor may choose to cancel the lesson, and the Pupil will be liable for the full payment of the lesson fee.
5. Payment:
- Lesson fees are payable in advance at the time of booking.
- Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer, as mutually agreed upon.
6. Conduct and Safety:
- The Pupil agrees to abide by all applicable traffic laws and regulations during lessons. The Pupil will be liable for any fees, fines or penalty points whilst they are driving. (e.g speeding, parking, bus lane fines and similar offences)
- The Pupil must hold a valid provisional driving license and produce it before commencing any lessons.
- The Instructor reserves the right to terminate a lesson if the Pupil's conduct jeopardizes the safety of themselves, the Instructor, or any third party. In such cases, the Pupil will be liable for the full payment of the lesson fee.
7. Liability:
- The Instructor shall maintain appropriate insurance coverage for the vehicle used during lessons.
- The Instructor shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the Pupil, except in cases of negligence or breach of legal duty.
8. Confidentiality:
- Both parties agree to keep all personal and confidential information shared during lessons confidential.
9. Governing Law:
- This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
By booking and attending lessons, the Pupil acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
